Once the heart and soul of Feliz Restaurant Group, Chef Tim Spinner decided to branch out on his own in 2020. With the lifestyle change came a change in business structure and a full rebranding of his popular Mexican spot, Taqueria Feliz. His new baby was thus born and named Taqueria Amor. Oh, and did we mention that this entire effort went down in the midst of COVID-19? Employing new signage and an aggressive social media campaign, the restaurant nearly tripled their take-out sales during the first month alone.

 

Fully rebrand a trendy restaurant in the midst of a pandemic? No problem, said we. Having previously worked with Chef Spinner and the Feliz Restaurant Group, we were careful to distinguish this new enterprise from the previous one. As the first order of business, we generated a 5-day social media campaign to engage customers and generate positive energy and mystery about the new rebrand. We also created signage, designed and developed the new website, and oversaw key aspects of art direction (the floating cupid gif—that’s us!). Social media engagement doubled in one week’s time and that was just the beginning of the restaurant’s ongoing success. To this day, we play a vital role in their brand identity and strategy.

Since this is not a retail brand, we seasonally get playful with our campaigns and themed logos based off of a carefully crafted menu while maintaining brand styling through colors and fonts.
